Multifamily investing on the LP side has a couple little tax advantages, but really not as much as one might wish -- and would end up being a bit disappointing when one hears GPs or gurus or whomever say "Real estate has some amazing tax advantages!"

I know it is a disappointment to find issues int he last minute however the fixes needed which you mentioned if they aren't super major ( radon remediation , lead in pipes , damaged roof etc ) then you should renovate and deploy ..
