Anyone leased out to a New dentist from college before?  

Would  you want your Dentist to learn how to pull teeth by reading from the internet and taking notes? 

the previous landlord built them and it was as bullet proof of rentals as I had ever seen.. 100% of the tenants were section 8.all buildings were single level and built with cement block painted on the outside and inside the home so no sheet rock or very little.

All kidding aside, you don't ask your dentist for mechanical advice. 

I was just planning on laying cement next to the water heater, which is also located outside, and housing it there.

I have heard of owners setting J-Bolts in the cement pad when an outdoor compressor is placed and then drilling holes in the bottom of the unit where the bolts come up from the pad so that the unit can be bolted to the pad from the inside.

We did the demo and removed the carpet and padding to try and reveal the cement slab floor.
