I took a mortgage of roughly 155k, and I repainted the walls and redid the floors on the main floor.

We had to repaint the entire place as well. 

Count on repaints, carpets, window replacements, door replacements etc etc etc no matter how nice the property was when you bought it. 

Unit doesn't need much work done, mostly repainting and maybe some new finishing on the old tile countertops.Unit D: Rent was 750 but tenant is moving out (5 months before lease ends) at the end of september.

But from what I hear from more experienced investors, there is almost always *something* to repair, even if it's just repainting that one room I noticed in the photos, with the yellow walls.I also noticed your down-payment budget comes out to 3.5% of the listing price. 

How often would one expect to need to repaint it?

No repainting, no extra cleaning, etc. so no turnover costs for you.

Nothing wrong with my house at least nothing major, door frame needed to be repainted and small things that are easy fixes in other words these people expected it to be perfect I guess.

We had hard wood floors and there was no damage, but there's just this lingering at odor from litter boxes that doesn't go away without a thorough cleaning and possibly re-painting.

Need the exterior of an old Victorian house repainted.
