A vote for laminate/formica tops if you want to keep costs down and aren't worried about competing with higher end products like granite.If you're going with butcher block, I recommend sealing them with MARINE grade polyurethane.

I feel strongly that renewable energy is the key to our continued success and prosperity as a species, so it's true that I react strongly when people make statements that might dissuade other people from moving in that direction, especially if those statements may not be backed up by solid research.

Other species of animals, whether wild or domestic, trained or untrained, are not considered service animals either.

We shouldn't think that given enough time the same thing can't happen to happen to a more intelligent species like us.
