And yes, Heritage Hills is gorgeous, as well as the Paseo...there are so many areas/districts popping up it's hard to keep track these days lol.

He's selling his gorgeous Cape and move back in with his parents while he does a few flips to generate capital to invest in buy & hold investments.You might not have that option, but you might find another temporary, low-cost option.

He and wife, both artists, are handy people (which remains to be seen) and wish to decorate, renovate the home - the current home is a 60s art deco style home and have not had a major upgrade (think pink and blue tiles in the bathroom).He does not want to risk my selling the home next year to someone else and the lease expires, nor me raising rent or wanting to rent to someone else.

No doubt the redwoods of California can get very rural and are absolutely gorgeous.

Here in California you have a better chance of finding a mythical pink unicorn.

Naples is gorgeous but let's say one is Denny's the other Ruth Chris (good steakhouse, more expansive).
