Everyone raves about Thrifty Nickel, Greentsheet, etc.The problem is none of these are distributed in the Chicagoland Market.What is the best way to find the free papers that are in circulation in my area... google hasn't afforded me many results...I'm thinking I'm going to have to do a paper run as well just visiting various spots in the area until I find what I'm looking forIf you happen to know of any in this market or places I should visit... feel free to share

Not all investing avenues that are covered is something I want to be involved in but I still like hearing about them and how others are putting together successful deals.As for being in a club if that club is freely exchanging information for the benefit of people not to throw money away on bad deals then I am all for it.I do not know what is up with people not wanting to show a picture or other information.

And I can promise that studying freely available materials and doing a single deal will teach 99% of wannabe investors more than all the "training" and "coaching" in the world.If you told me that someone would spend a month with me in my home market, help me market locally for deals, look at houses with me, help me learn how to do inspections and estimate rehab costs, help me prepare offers on a contract that was valid in my state, help me do due diligence when an offer was accepted, help me hire contractors, help me manage the rehab, etc., I might think it was worth it.
