I’m not convinced that providing a washer/dryer connection will put any more rental income in my pocket and the home has other desirable features so I’m not worried that the lack of connections will be a deal breaker for a prospective tenantThoughts?

I understand that regular professional inpsections/maintenance is a must but I'm wondering if the potential for a breakdown, etc. is enough for this to be a deal breaker.

They said that they had to wait hours some days for the previous landlord to come by and do something as simple as flipping a breaker switch.Of course since I’m new to all this, my initial thought was that it was rather cruel.

I also looked at the Cook County Circuit Court website and found that the property has a Lis Pendens against it, filed in 2011.

It gets expensive updating the panel breakers and wiring to handle the draw of electricity these require.

Since I wasn't the owner, it was a deal breaker.

I like all my breakers cheep and readly available, HD again .Most plumbing at HD Appliances depends on the neighborhood maybe none maybe Craigs list .

Was that finding in circuit court, move up the ladder on several fronts, limitation of commerce, owner's rights, lack of any public good other than an occupancy permit.

However it is common practice to have a reserve price in place so I don't think that's a deal breaker.
