@John Kent yes to both.I will try to get in touch with the lender on Monday and talk about a short sale but, as a first-timer and from what I have heard of short-sales I do not hold my hopes too high on it.About the LO, my plan is to get a mortgage and and close.

'Truthful hyperbole' lol. 3 years (at least used to be) the limit banks would allow a LO to be before they considered it a disguised sale and could potentially activate the due on sale clause.
