If I got a home equity loan for Property 1 and used the proceeds as downpayment for Property 2 and then got a 2nd loan for the remaining 75% purchase price for Property 2, when I sell Property 2, can I use the Property 1 loan as part of the cost basis for computing Property 2 capital gains?

She loves it.Our situation is this, we have had our home that I purchased right before 9/11 for $110k that sits on an acre property.

I’m interested in the property but trying to figure out what’s the best recourse in obtaining it.

So, if she bought the bitcoin for $1 million and is now using it to close on a $10 million property, that is a $9 million gain that needs to be accounted for in her income tax.

Same things as knowing comps for the 30 properties that you narrowed down to from the 70% rule..

I've found an off-market property that would require $175k purchase, $35k down, $20k in repairs, with a conservative ARV of $235k. 

Cool to see but could have done that at my own pace..... the property tours are informative and show the different levels of facilities...
