It's not the same as an equine property because equiestrians have horses and horses require physical infrastructure built in to the property.

The higher 6 digit ones (under 1m but >500k) are the old salt dogs, low enough (<500k) and that's who was doing mortgages via fax machine and telegraph, the tribal elders who travelled by horse and buggy with a top hat.

Take that with a grain of salt, I get around but I don't know everyone in this many horse town.

Often times people aren't so you can save yourself from wasting time pursuing a dead horse.

A faster, more entertaining way to become poor is to bet on horses, sporting events, or the like- if you go that route, you'll become poor but at least you'll have had fun getting there.I recall a conversation with a Section 8 employee a few years ago- Section 8 was angling to make it illegal to refuse tenants based on the tenants' use of Section 8.

Basically just like you describe, horses, cows, chickens, goats, pastures, barn and about 8 small cabins on the property spread out.    

Interior walls look to be horse-hair.

I believe the same opportunity exists in all of the multifamily properties, but I know the most about this complex and I don't want to put the cart before the horse.
