Two obvious options for power in the unit: 1) get a thick extension cord long enough to reach from primary unit and plug into 20A socket (Harbor Freight has some thick electrical cords at decent price) or get a generator (Costco sometimes carries them or you can rent one).

The plug was mounted dead center of the wall not allowing for the stove to be pushed all the way in due to the thickness of the plug.

Why not paint a thin strip on the higher part-maybe an inch thick?
