Hello everyone, I was told by an attorney that the corporate veil of a single member LLC is easier to pierce and thus has less asset protection and charging order protection than a multi-member LLC. 

@John Pierce I was preparing to help someone navigate this process last year for a lot split and new townhouse construction.

But, from a layman's point of view (which I've written about nearly everyday on BP here), what you are doing would seem to threaten if not at this point pierce your corporate veil.

If the deal is around $750,000 and up, you might call Pierce at Security Mortgage Group in New Jersey (a mobile home park loan broker) and see if he'll tell the seller that you can't cap the home rent.

Any good tort attorney will be able to pierce it if there is enough money to be had.

Right now, I need to find end buyers for properties that I intend to wholesale in the areas of King, Pierce and Thurston counties of the WA Puget Sound.
