I have lived in this condo as a primary residence.

It is part of a larger building and I am not able to assess whether it is in some way a condo, and if so, are they up to date with any fees. 

You'll also want to up the budget around 90-120k for single families and 140-180k for duplexes otherwise you'll either be 1- in really rough areas that nobody wants to rent in. high vacancy, crime etc.

Purchase price: $150,000 2 bed 1 bath duplex.

This was a bit of a let down hearing all of this, since there don’t seem to be many duplexes or front houses with in-law suites that would serve the same purpose.Is there something I’m missing?

I'm a new investor in the San Diego area, currently purchasing my first property, a 2BD 2BA condo.

I have one duplex and have been house hacking since I bought it, it's been 5 years plus I have this property and finally ready for a 2nd one, looking to see if I get another multi or a single family, any thoughts Side note I also need a bigger place since I have another child who now needs their own room.

Duplex, Triplex, Quadplex?

ISpeed did not disclose this was a condo, nor did they even disclose the unit #. 

There are two duplex properties and one 20 unit complex available.
