I have dealt with mold several times in buildings here in the Berwyn area, and the main thing is to get rid of the moisture before you waste time treating/replacing material. 

Since you've already called in the claim I would call your agent and discuss what may or may not be covered.The building inspector told me we needed to be at 7% moisture in the studs or less.

Also, moisture is going up and down the walls on all floors.i.e.

FHA is also fairly strict on appraisals so if the home needs work on something they deem necessary like the roof or moisture problems, they won't allow the loan and the deal falls apart.       

Make sure that the repair was done properly and that no moisture has been trapped in the walls or ceiling.

This way I know the pipes wont freeze and bust and the hvac will keep out any moisture therefore protecting my assets. 

The basement does have a little moisture on the concrete floor but not much.

This can allow moisture to get into the uncured paint film allowing certain components to come to the surface when the moisture evaporates, causing surface staining and possible adhesion problems.I don't know how experience you are with rehabs, but 6 weeks are only doable if you stick to paint and carpet and don't do any rough in electrical, plumbing and drywall work.

If you treat the home and abate the moisture and mold correctly you can sell the home eventually, look at the homes in a hurricane area that sale for example.
