You do have to walk a fine line though, between consistent pressure and nagging:)3) A 4 year S8 waiting list doesn't really tell you HOW MANY voucher holders are in the area of your rental.

More often that not, the PHA section 8 voucher can get you rents that exceed the typical market rental amount in the area.

I am new to real estate , i just purchased my 1st rental house in fort worth, and made it available for renting for about $2100 , i am getting lot of section 8 / voucher's for the house, although i am interested in renting to to section 8 , i am confused on what are the minimum income criteria should i look for ?

Hope you got a discount on the purchase price due to the tenant past due balance and didn't get suckered into paying full price just because it has an S8 tenant:(You may also want to push your PMC to send the eviction paperwork to the S8 caseworker, so hopefully, they take away this tenant's voucher!

It depends partially on your local PHA, but mostly on whether she is currently on a Section 8 voucher (and her rent has just stagnated) or has she just received one she is intending to use on her current unit?

I would hope that if a section 8 tenant trashes a house and you report it to Section 8 folks, the voucher would be taken away from the tenant.
