some were included with the purchase of the townhouse (dishwasher and stove)  but i added a microwave, washer, dryer, and 2 refrigerators.  

Half, if not more, of the construction crew couldn't do the basics; installing a sink, plugging in the stove, etc.

A code violation requires disclosure and seller credits to mend when selling with a realtor correct?

The fridge was DIRECTLY across from the stove.

They took him off to hospital to mend and a little while later an inspector turned up. 

Remember that with an illegal in law that the stove is probably illegal.
