Keep in mind even if you’re self funding you are bringing everyone else along for the ride.  

The only thing I can do to help justify it is that now with income in the highest tax bracket, I am saving 37% on any depreciation I can get.Will someone either wake me up to my new found delusions or encourage me that I am still on the right track.Buying rentals that don't cash flow is like buying a bike with two flat tires and no seat to sit on, then trying to ride home from the grocery store with a back pack of groceries on your back.Will it eventually get you there?

Same if you park it (your cash, not your ride) and not use it at all. 

I have a few "workhorses" as well - these I just maintain/repair and let them ride out.

It's a journey, so enjoy the ride with people you enjoy working and playing with.STRATEGIES Sustainability is the real question. 

Are they intentionally seeking out housing for them and their kids that all kids to ride bikes on the street and run around the neighborhood?

I have 4 properties in WA state, an hour ferry ride from Seattle. 2 are SFH and 2 are townhomes.

When faced with rising expenses, and let's be fair, skyrocketing expense growth, right, a business has 3 choices; (a) eat it and ride into bankruptcy. 

Outside of real estate, I enjoy skiing in wintertime, basketball all other times and having fun with friends and family all aboard this crazy ride. 

For one it's 15-20 miles away from Disney - that's a little ride for sure.
