this is my first ever mortgage and I've never had to pay rent so this is definitely going to be an adjustment for me, but I've been wanting to do this for the last 4-5 years now and i figured the best way to get into it is to jump right in!

Most of the REITs are classified as Micro as to size and have great volatility in pricing and net asset value adjustments.  

Even if you adjust it over time, the effort spent upfront will pay dividends as you build momentum and make informed decisions in this field.

I am inclined to believe this is the chief complaint and they either have another option or underestimated their ability to adjust to a rental. 

Ive worked with them before for another displaced family and it was great, they even adjusted the rate mid stay and was a big financial win for me. 

Just that the payment gets adjusted smaller.

What did your rate adjust too after the buy down?

I dont know the market in Las Craces.....but in the DC area, we definitely have a seasonal adjustment on sales, and if the property was here, it would have been listed at the worst possible time. 

The fire prevention policies were different, more aggressive, so far less imperative reasons to sway away from a then amply supplied and I imagine price adjusted material of shake vs fire resilient material. 

Had several challenges with their bookkeeping after I had to make an adjustment to one of my monthly payments.
