I am on pace to finish the course before the beginning of March and my short term goal is to join a brokerage firm before May.

From this definition and my experience with the Multifamily Mindset and their employees, independent contractors, and sponsors they promote that is exactly what it is in my opinion.I joined the program in June of 2021.

In order to network with wholesalers and lenders the best way to go about it will be to attend the local REIA like The Greater Houston REIA and also joining the local investors facebook groups. 

So you feel its been a safe move for you to join RAD?

I'm new to real estate investing, but have thrown myself into learning as much as I can by joining a Veteran based investment community, have been working with my realtor and looking daily for potential multi family properties in the Dallas area for house hacking, which I've set myself an deadline to be completed by May.

Both of those could put an investor where you are today - unfortunately.I can tell you that I believe I've avoided these types of issues from happening on my deals because I joined coaching programs and had mentors.

It's likely a scam anytime they sound like AI or the grammar is weird or they use the word "kindly", if they ask for you to respond to them off-platform, if they say their employer will pay for it, if they ask if the dates they've specified are still open (when they can clearly see they are open on your calendar), if they ask for a video of your property (they probably want to set up a duplicate listing with your photos and video and scam others out of money), or if they want a long term booking and they have just joined the platform and have no reviews (could have been evicted from somewhere else, and hope a newbie will let them in with no background check, they'll end up not paying or credit card is bad).
