Housing prices are high, mortgage rates are high, and competition is fierce so revenue is way downIt’s one thing if you bought a while back like many of us did, so your cost basis is much lower.

With the interest rates and market prices, I am not sure this will be as great with returns.

20% is not high for managing a STR.

This is more about inventory and not STR returns. 

I'm now figuring out how to maximize the return on current properties and add value, efficient ways to self manage, etc.

But lowest risk with conversely high returns might still be worthy to try. 

Also there is an additional tax on the returns due to the financing.
