I know pebble tech is much more durable in the long run (and more expensive), but will we see a ROI when we sell our property?

What do you typically install for countertops in rentals that is durable, cost effective, and can be installed in a timely manner?  

I just had 4 Air conditioners get an axe taken to them at a 4-plex.How "durable" are those machines?

I am looking for something durable, practical, and of course inexpensive to either install for the first time or replace.

I would think you could get it at $1/ft there, but I wouldn't mind paying a few cents more per foot for someone good.As J Scott points out, the rolled laminate is much less to purchase, and much easier to install (so very cheap overall). some of the newer ones look good too, but can't attest to their durability..

It is durable and easy to clean, just move out the furniture and get the hose.

Fine with replacing vinyl with vinyl but I want something durable so we do't have to do it often.What d you use?
