Hi @Jonathan KlemmThe new law will allow many criminals to walk out of jail on January 1st and will eliminate cash bail for non violent crimes.

Go to the local police station and ask for a crime map to see what type of offenses are taking place (minor vs violent crime).

I have, however, phoned the police non-emergency number, advised them I'm looking at an investment property in X neighborhood or near X cross streets that I'm about to attend alone and asked if there has been any recent violent criminal activity I should be concerned about.

Further more this kind of business adds a dynamic that attracts violent or criminal activity.
