Hi, I am trying to locate an attorney that can help me negotiate settlements for 7 DSCR investor mortgages on single family homes that are at risk of defaulting.

@Amy Denzler wouldn’t your settlement agent have access to an attorney who can assist?

I was at his office today for a property settlement. 

Based upon the tax certificate issued and relied upon at settlement, I would be requesting that the taxing authority abate the liens against the property and pursue the seller directly for the amounts now claimed to be owed.

The settlement was likely to...and ended up leading to a shrinking labor pool for brokerage services.

Only one month remains before the August 17 implementation date for the NAR settlement.

What are the market rents for the property and do you have $15000 for the down and $8000 for all the closing/title/settlement/new impounds?

I don't know of a legal prohibition on it, but you would need to find a settlement company willing to accept it.

Whether or not it would pass with the IRS depends on language used in the agreement and the wordings in the settlement statement. 

Or one who assumes the risk of loss prior to settlement?
