Holding the property as a rental was only your plan B and this deal is a good case study for the difference in flip and hold investing.I reread your original post and I just realized you were going to purchase as a second home to buy during the owner occupant only buying period and that's why you said you can't make rental income until after a year.

This is my first year with this property management company so I couldn't remember, but I just re-read it and the tenants must give 30-days written notice of moving out, otherwise the lease goes month to month.
