Does the rate even matter when the borrower makes 2 payments in 15 months on a junior lien?

Junior liens are usually wiped out, though they may have redemption rights. 

After all, I started out making $30,000 as a junior project manager so how the heck could I have afforded to buy a NYC apt?!

They are actually under a different company Hogar Community Reinvest, and typically I see the junior lien under DLP Funding. 

One often overlooked but important item as mentioned is finding out about additional junior liens Before making an offer.

As a general rule, all "junior" liens get removed at the sheriff's sale.
