I swear I can spell AUSTRALIAN!

I had three months before I had to go to training.So I sold everything I had and went on an adventure of a lifetime.Went for 3 months and stayed 12 years. i have a beautiful wife, and three of the most beautiful girls in the world or at least in my world.Well we do what most Australians do, we got a few blocks of land and a investment home.Then we got pregnant and the those properties allowed my wife to stay home for 6 years and raise my beautiful babies, while I was out working my *** off...lol.Now we are stateside in Tennessee and loving it.Looking to build an empire or pay for the girls college i figure they both cost the same.Looking to get some income to retire on and give my girls options to schools they would like to go.So I'm an open book and sponge.

Finally, I could also be opened to invest in other areas with good turnkey operations.Thanks for sharing your experiences.Alejandro Hi Alejandro,I once invested in US property from afar and know of many fellow Australians that still do so.I always stress to be patient and conduct more due diligence on the people you are looking at doing business with over the actual stats and demographics of a particular area.Also, please feel free to look into some states in the Midwest.

I am familiar with the basic Keynesian and Australian theories and at this point I am a little more interested in the Hayek school of thought, although I believe one cannot start to understand economics by learning just one theory, so gaining an understanding of multiple theories is interesting to me.I appreciate the responses...you are all certainly far ahead of me when it comes to economic principles and understanding.

I've already completed a training course on wholesaling and foreclosures.The plan is to first wholesale as all our cash is tied up overseas (we are selling an Australian property so we can bring over funds) plus we're building up our credit score.
