HelloI am a single person, recently bought 2200 square feet house in Dallas county and unfortunately change in job nature, led to travel frequently.

That being said, we carry a receipt book in our LL filebox (the box that travels with us with keys, LL forms, etc -- we have learned to take it with us whenever we go near the rentals)  and are happy to handwrite a receipt at any time.

Another advantage to you buying property back home is when you visit for the holiday's you can potentially write off your travel and cost of stay as property management costs.

Wondering if I can take a Lodging Per Diem deduction for those nights when I travel to my vacation rental for business purposes.

@David Flores - sending during the holiday season may cause a few days of delay in the delivery, and the responses may come in later than usual (because people may be traveling and not picking up their mail), but after all is said and done, I can't see it having a huge negative impact.The more important thing is to make sure you're working with the right list (i.e. - data that is current, accurate and targeted appropriately) and sorting it correctly.

Smoking outside is problematic since second hand smoke travels and can adversely affect others.

Or maybe furnish it and put it on Airbnb or chbo for 30day minimum leases and try and get traveling business people.

We have a variety of jobs we work that are either remote or require us to travel to them so we are open to any market that is within two hour drive of a major airport (so 75% of the country), but where!?!

Good question, I have challenges getting to the weekday meetings, as I am normally traveling Mon-Thursday.
