You say 6o years old lets say mid Century- not mid century modern, probably post war, but not Craftsman or Victorian.  

My properties are very nice inside & out, very modern with good renters.

I have already been through re/max, prestige (then remax when they bought them out), modern real estate, and now KW.

No immediate plans for a mobile version . . . first things first -- we update and modernize the site.

The house three doors down is under contract at top of market price with the same cabinets but painted white with new tile counter.I need to redo the counter and would like to make the cabinets a little bit more modern.

Most rehab shows (which I also watch) seem to always rip old houses out down to the studs and put in all new/modern upgrades.Steph

Ironically, the next day the same radio station was having a discussion about how letigious our society has grown over that past 30 year and how that stifles our ability to take initiative and be productive.Maybe we should compile a list of things that tenants children are not allowed to do.

I feel like I wouldn't get the return on the investment to modernize the place.

So do buyers expect them to be 100% up to modern standards?

In this litigious society you can never be too careful.
