I wanted to get everyone that has done or has a ton of knowledge in the CA space for doing ADUs for the new bill that was passed AB1033 for ADUs.

Hi James, not sure what markets you are interested in, but if you are interested in Memphis or Detroit (where I have 9 doors), I would be happy to connect and knowledge share.

@Barry Pittman  I have extensive knowledge of Jackson MS and up to Madison county.. these areas are very difficult for subsidized housing since so much of Jackson is already subsidized with section 8 and other state and city programs.. and since existing homes still sell for far under replacement value how do you build new.. ???

Without some on the ground knowledge those really low prices in some of the neighborhoods can really play some tricks on those "out of state eyes."

From what you say, she doesn't want the hassle any more, so take that knowledge and see if there is a mutually beneficial way to structure this deal.

I appreciate all the knowledge drops here and this is one of the reasons BP is so great. 

Asking for help is not necessarily one of my strong points, however I truly believe in the knowledge that exists within this forum, and I would highly value any and all mentorship that may be available to help get me going in the right direction. 

Please feel free to pass out any knowledge/tips for someone very green.
