Here's what AirBNB/VRBO provide to me, a host, that those sites don't, that I find particularly valuable:- Easy interface that I didn't have to build myself- Credit card processing- Customer service representation, guarantees, and "insurance" that, while definitely less than perfect, provides an element of support and a sense of safety to both guests and hosts- Most importantly, a monstrous marketing presence and household name recognitionThese are costs that far outstrip simply running a website that acts as a way for guests and hosts to connect.

We have asked them multiple times not to smoke in the home (after becoming aware of the fact that they were when our daughter went to the home to pick up some personal items left behind) and they continue with utter disregard of the household rules.

They had stepped in and helped these lower income single parent households to create a community among themselves, getting involved in school activities for the kids, stepping in to watch each others children when necessary, and a lot of other things.Then there is "the missing middle" issue in single family housing which is that builders can't/won't build houses that are what are now considered starter homes.

I've also been accused of being cheap and stingy a lot because I choose not to spend my money eating out/drinking/getting high/buying stupid junk on amazon/reusing bags/fancy apartment/etc (I personally don't think asking someone for their agreed upon 1/3 of utilities in a household of 3 people makes me "cheap").

It comes in a paint bucket and can be applied with a brush and roller or sprayed on (you need a specialty sprayer don't run it through your typical household sprayer).
