Hello, I have a small self storage in Vermont that recently experienced some theft - thieves cut off tenant locks, went in units and then put another lock on to disguise the disturbance. 

If you drywall over, then you are technically not disturbing it so you can just use regular contractors.In addition to that, if you remove the existing walls, you will likely have a code enforcer there telling you that you have to update everything to code as soon as you take down those walls.Now you're talking new electric, and possibly some plumbing as they likely haven't vented much if anything previously.

One of our biggest challenges in working on the apartment next door and trying to do it quietly and without disturbing the sleeping tenant. 

@Jennifer Rysdam Sounds like you have experienced pets who have caused excessive damage and disturbed tenants.

If it had any industrial use or if there is any chance any possible polutants were dumped there you could create a cleanup by disturbing it.   

I am very disturbed on how people market the Go Zone.

Other communities resist short term renters as they assume the renter is going to party hardy and disturb the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.  

I was able to serve the tenants with an eviction notice for violating the lease because they were calling the police and causing a disturbance.

Fair point, but it’s a little disturbing that these guys can file liens without any due process
