Ashley, it comes down to mitigating risk and costs.1) Your name personally:  Putting the property in your name provides some risk, but if you have a short hold time, and you have a bonded contractor to address any issues (prior, during, and after sale), then risk of liability lowers.2) LLC:  Some people use these to manage finances, taxes, as well as to manage liability.
