Owner to self: is this thermostat have any complications besides setting the temp--ie temp for monday or temp for 4 am.

Borrow 25 payback 30 if you have to -- then get a (fun--easy) part time temp job for a year to pay the money back.Postpone fixups for a year while you work and make the house more valuable with the new wiring.And Pay back the money yo promised to pay as Job #1.Just my 2 cents.

Then they can still use the oven, just have to turn it off manually when it gets up to temp, and experiment a bit with how frequently to turn it back on to keep temp steady.  

I like the Braeburn ones you can pull a pin out of the back and set the high temp limit.

I know the heater temp is fine since I just set it and everyone else is fine.

I spend time daily working on it, checking the chemicals and working to keep them balanced so that there's no living thing in it so I can use it, but because of the temps and weather, I haven't been in it much anyway.

I do a temp wire hook up and flush the iron down the drive for 15 minutes then put it back together .  

At that time minimum temp. during daytime to approximately 10:00pm was 68 *, from 10:00pm to 6:00am it is 64*.
