You would need to be able to show some sort of a track record and I think their average raised is like $1.2 mil so you'd need further capital, but it could be a place to look.

Yup, that's spot on Phil.On our end once you put out there that you work with investors, wholesale portfolio lenders start blowing up your inbox with rate sheets that have things like this on it.And all sorts of other random little niches that each portfolio lender does, like LLCs and the rest.But none of it is at Fannie/Freddie rates/terms, nor is it under Fannie/Freddie guidelines.

It takes some work and some vision to see things that others miss because they aren't looking for it in this way, but you could pay retail and actually still make a profit by spotting and extracting this sort of hidden value.

This was really the worst possible sort of storm as far as insured losses.

The home doesn't have a finished roof, bathroom or kitchen AKA it is not in any sort of livable condition. 

Will a Quiet Title suit clear this sort of thing on the chain of title?

@Jennifer Nguyen I've looked at several commercial appraisals recently and although they are more voluminous they sort of take the same tact as a residential appraisal.

Never having engaged in this sort of ask, any thoughts on likelihood or tactics to get it amended?
