"Intrinsic value" That's a new on on me for REI.Intrinsic value: "A measure of what an asset is worth that is arrived at by means of an objective (there's an open ended word here) calculation or complex (in other words, filled with a lot of rationalizations to make the end number work in your favor) financial model, rather than using the currently market price of that asset".

As Wayne said, you signed a document at closing, which was called "Title Company disclosure" or "Pro-ration Agreement" that you and the seller acknowledge that the pro-ration done for closing were an estimate and the best information at the time was used.
