There are lots of meetups that can be found with the local REIAs, Meetup.com, and the Events section here on BP.I host a monthly networking event as well with other Charlotte area BiggerPocket members.

There’s no rule saying that you have to have experience to host a meet-up.

She has hosted a lot here on BP.

I was able to find this local bank because I asked @Craig Wilcox, the host of my local REI club, Winnebago Investors Network (WIN), if he knew of any financing options other than Fannie or Freddie.

AirBnB is a great platform and continues to deliver great results for many hosts.

I would be happy to host the event if you pull a group together.

Plus, the fees they charge hosts seem more to me and I haven’t mastered the formula of pricing like I have on Airbnb.

I grew up next door in Manchester, which is a good little rental market IMO.I believe that @Scott Hollister is still hosting a monthly meet up in the area.

I assume the city would require on registered hosts (which is the minority) as a starting point for this proximity rule, so effectively this rule might encourage un-registered hosts to stay un-registered, which to me seems counter-productive to the City's overall goal of governing these rentals.
