The STR industry is all about the daily rate, the location, the amenities & the reviews but my experience in the STR industry has always been in climates that are wet & cold. ;)Question: what would be more advantageous from a STR perspective when buying a multiplex close to the beach to look for 1/1 vs let's say a 2/1 or 2/2,3/2 etc?

@Shawn Krieger hi Sean thank you that is the long-term retirement goal I am currently 48 years old and I will be probably retiring within the next two to three years at which point it would be nice to have already started investing in the United States hence why I mention all the warmer climate states such as Florida Nevada Arizona welcome to the chat thank you

@Forrest Shealy This is where it gets "fun" because you're a detective trying to find the rest of the story and the manager (if they're worth their salt isn't going to give it to you).So the best way would be to visit the local Facilities and ask to rent a particular unit, say 10x10, and then go look at it, (you can certainly request a few different sizes or climate control so you have a reason to tour the Facility).
