I always hear that you can use OPM for deals but I'm not relying on that.I just did a basement renovation at my personal property and instead of tricking it out with new t.v, furniture and games we decided to put the money aside for our investment.

Just as you can't really buy a life insurance policy on my life without us having some contractual or family relationship, I can't be covered for any loss you suffer from your furniture burning up.

We could put a master in upstairs (high ceilings as well, no bathroom) but the staircase leading to upstairs is tight (it would be, not impossible but hard, to fit the furniture up the stairs).
