The best areas to invest remotely, in my opinion, are the lower priced, higher cash flow areas in the midwest and southeast (Kansas City, Indianapolis, Oklahoma City, Memphis, Raleigh, etc.).

I live In a small rural industrial town in southeast texas where the chemical plants are literally bigger than the city in which I live its about an hour south of houston on the coast.

I am learning all I can and actively looking for my first deal as a house hack just south/east of Denver Colorado. 

There are many better places in the midwest and southeast for investments.

You can still get good return in the SouthEast side of town.

Hey @William J Stratton Jr. i'd suggest diving into jobs reports and population trends for midwest/ southeast cities.

After college we did a little touring in the southeast and released two albums.
