@J Scott  agreed on the area.. most low end areas I have seen  when I look at that video and Ned I assume that was Ned leading the charge.. was able to remove a plastic pane and some card board and walk in and the persons belongs are still there.. 

Even i f you have plastic walls I would still use the better board behind it.

So yes, install a tub that is also designed to allow a wall shower with appropriate solid Screen to be attached, or at the very least install an overhead Rail with plastic Shower Curtain. 

They sell a big box of the plastic ones for not too much at the box stores.
