Downside is initial investment per Unit ( 1-2 bedroom apartments ) will need about 30-40k renovation, 10-15k furnishing and if you hire people like me, it will cost you another 20k from getting the long-term tenant/vacant and unrenovated apartment out to your first MTR tenant in your dream MTR property.

It looks like a lot, but most of what’s listed was relatively small and cheap.We’ll return to how we responded and why, but for now, I’ll just note that not only did the inspection ensure the buyer wouldn’t be completely blindsided by something like all the floor joists having been torn apart by termites, but what we ended up agreeing to more than paid for the cost of the inspection (usually $300 to $500).

That being said, besides, looking at actual rental comps that you can get from an agent I also look on Zillow and try to find apartments that are very similar to what I have available.
