Make sure you have good drainage, good barrier protection, good ventilation and maintain an adequate temperature in the space.

Also, there was only about a 5-6 degree temperature drop at the registers and the air just did not seem cold.  

Is it ABS or PVC that you have to prime before you solvent-weld it?

I like the way the hot water baseboards continue to give off heat after the boiler turns off and this makes the temperature in the rooms and on the walls more even and there are less cold drafts.

They look nice, easy to operate, easy to install, blackout in the bedrooms, extra sound and temperature insulation (efficiency upgrade?)...

When the snowflakes fly, and the temperatures drop - the thermostat rises.As someone who is living in a duplex built in 1910 Massachusetts I am feeling the pinch of heating costs!
