I just like to comment on the comments you don't have to worry about roofs in condos.I bought a newly converted condo, converted from a local high school.

I have a few weeks off from school, so I will stay to get to know the areas and connect with people.

I've always loved real estate but like in Brandon's book my parent's were not keen on the idea so I unfortunately listened went to undergrad then went to professional school.

I need to come up with a good strategy for tying up this property while managing holding costs & risk (both the risk that market shifts drastically and the risk that I lose the seller)CONTEXT: I'm an investor in Bergen County, NJ - my direct mail turned up an owner who plans to move out of state at the end of the school year (she's a teacher retiring).

I'd gravitate to loan officers with deep roots to the community, i.e. grew up there, attended school there, on local boards.

Hey BP community, I'm researching Forsyth county for SFR homes to invest in for long term rentals, mainly in the 250K - low 300K range (new construction/newer homes) in good school districts (West/North Forsyth HS), would love it if anyone could recommend some good subdivisions to check out.
