I'd tell the board you plan on filing a fair housing claim and explain to them that fines for fair housing violations can reach into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Finishing out a bathroom may run you 5000 or so between plumbing and fixtures.So between building out a bathroom and just buying kitchen cabinets.... that's already 80k for 8 units.

So I'm hoping to find a cheaper way to redo my old cabinets on my rental.

We used her Credit to buy two more properties that were producing at least a few hundred in positive Cash Flow each month and one home for her to retire with later on.

We currently owe $124,000 (give or take a few hundred bucks).

Over time the couple hundred in missed cash-flow becomes a rounding error.
