I felt it was just a distraction from our actual business of buying real estate. 

You can also help improve the housing stock with making real capital improvements and not just cosmetic items In your flip, but that said, that roof is visibly a distraction with some patching.. 

I'm not a flipper so this is good to work my brain.When working with Newbies, how do you teach them the multiple ways to purchase and all the different exit strategies without them getting distracted in pursuing all those different avenues?

Apparently I've been distracted by the wrong numbers.

@Bill Exeter hahahaha, i got distracted while writing my post and you had responded between the time I wrote it and hit post.

So.....this situation has turned into a disaster.The first plumber was distracted by the loose toilet and chose to address that first. 

Onone other thing is to locate an office that is conviient and few distractions, if any.  

Had my first kid last week and obviously got a little distracted!

Glad that I have learned early on that those people can be distractions or lead you in the wrong direction.

I would say purchase price matters but is a distraction more than anything else.
