JPOW sets his federal funds rate to move the needle in aggregate, rather than making individual decisions about each individual thing, same thing here, just move the needle as needed to produce the desired aggregate outcome, no individual debates about the price of eggs or the cost of a new car.And if a bunch of users with 500 posts and only 4 upvotes wind up banned b/c they just can't help but solicit... please hold the tissue I was crying into, so I can play the tiniest violin in the world while I attempt to hold back more tears.

Some of the townships have banned STR altogether or are discussing doing so, so be sure to do your due diligence prior to buying!  

Lastly, the city has tried to ban all STRP's multiple times and has put freezes on all STRP requests multiples times in the last 24 months.

The main town that surrounds Zion National Park completely banned STRs in all residential zoning. 

Cashiers also just decided to ban short term rentals and that should go into effect January 1st.

It seems that HUD is saying overly broad bans on convictions become discriminatory because certain groups are convicted at higher rates than other groups.

I don’t recommend condos or HOA’s (although for the “right” property I’ve done them), as that often adds another layer of regs or bans them altogether - either now or later). 

Also, I know there was a ban put in place on one night rentals a year or so ago.

For example, you may have a place that bans STR.

Unless you have a good, organized and large group of STR investors who can make their case for their existence, you are going to fall prey to local homeowners hell bent on banning STRs.
