I typically buy/sell in urban areas where there's a sewer system and public water, so I need resources/referrals for this situation. 

I tended to use non shaker style cabinets.

I can say from personal experience that Connected Investor and the  CIX Referral Service is a very large and ELABORATE SCAM.  

In the past, these sources have been pretty reliable when I'm looking to get a second opinion for market insight and analysis as well as a source of referrals. 

And the LTC they tend to approve is usually fairly low too.

I found this property thru a referral and I negotiated with the seller directly.

@Joseph Chiofalo just helped a referral with a high LTV cash out refinance.

The excuse I am always given is that out of state landlords tend to be negligent and want someone local they can hold accountable.
