Talk to the insurance company and they can walk you through it.

I walk by your house all the time and just wanted to check in with you to see if you have thought about selling now or any time in the future.

Ask for them to meet you at the property to hand over keys and do a quick walk through knowing they will do a more thorough when they are by themselves (because it is much easier to do it that way).

REITS that own shopping malls or sky-scraper office buildings are effectively the walking dead and many will not survive. 

As soon as you walk out of the cabin the dogs race to the dinky fence about 80 yards from the cabin and bark like they want to kill you.

But at the end of the day if it’s fiscally better to let it go I can walk away knowing I made the right decision if need be.
