So, for my question, has any other landlord specifically dealing with college rentals or a zoo like environment have any similar experience with cameras and what did you decide to do, install cameras or just say no thanks, not worth the stress and anger knowing what's actually going on at my properties?

Put up signs that make the rules look super official (no smoking, tenant parking only etc.)Put up security cameras if you can

My thought process is to install 2 outdoor cameras. 

We have cameras on the exterior of the property which is how we know this is happening.

I think we will install video security cameras asap as well.Has anyone encountered anything like this?

They'll use a thermal camera to do your building envelope assessment and then recommend enhanced insulation, sealing gaskets, duct repairs, etc.

We would also like to install some security camera's onsite to see how the doors are getting propped open in the first place so we can crack down on the practice. 

Highest and best use is probably as a single-family home turning the attic into a 2nd story and having the basement available for a nanny\in-law suite.

Other requirements include:- Strong communication skills- Availability to visit job sites twice a week (less than 2 hours a week)- Must have a high quality camera (Apple iPhone will suffice)- Ability to communicate & translate job site progress into legible notes. 

I am only looking to power my common area, which would include a small laundry room (gas dryer), some lighting, and a security camera system.
