Our current cleaner happens to be one of our tenants - she, her mother and her daughter have a business.

Her mother was dying of cancer in the hospital during these hearings, and claims that this was under duress as she would have signed anything to get back to her mother's side.

My daughter lives with her mother so it leave me with extra time to learn. 

She looked at the property, met with the sellers agent, met with the tenant in the mother-in-law suite and all seems good.

My mother lives in assisted living where she pays hefty rent on her apartment, with all utiliites included and use of a shared laundry room (not coin op) with other tenants.

Good morning everyone, I recently acquired a property that has a single family home and a mother-in law apartment in the back.

Though I do own one rental property in San Diego county that I inherited from my mother, I'm basically a total newbie to this part of the business and I'm really looking forward to learning the ropes.

I grew up in Merrimack, NH and my mother is still there.

I was eager to purchase the property for my mother, so I didn't think twice about it. 

I know I can do this and I'm so thankful for the knowledge and to continue to learn more and grow as a mother, born leader, and entrepreneur/business woman.
